I’ve been on a few exploratory walks recently looking for some photographic locations. I took some initial images down at the small parish of Langton Herring in Dorset a few days ago. This delightful village is about five miles north west of Weymouth, overlooking Fleet, the small lagoon behind Chesil Beach. It was a low, brooding sky but, using a long-ish exposure, I managed to take some atmospheric images of some abandoned boats on the foreshore looking back towards Chesil Beach.
I’ve also been checking out the River Stour at Wimborne for some future pictures. This time of year the elements can conspire against you but if the conditions are calmer, the early morning light can create a soft diffusion across misty waters. If I get anything decent I’ll post them on my news page.
