The Talented Mr Rapley

A couple of weeks before Christmas, I was out shooting pictures at the jazz night at Sound Cellar, a regular event downstairs at The Blue Boar. On December 13th, it was the turn of the extremely talented Mr Sam Rapley and his band, Fabled. It must have been good as I invested in their latest CD, Short Stories.

We’re not allowed to use flash down there but the SoundCellar organiser, Rob Palmer, has arranged some very sexy lighting, which makes it all nice and cosy. And my pre loved Nikon D800 copes very well in low light conditions, allowing me to push the film speed to a very respectable ISO6400. But the D800 also has an impressive 36MP sensor, perfect for producing high quality images, ideal for landscape and property photography.
